Why is searching the SEC.gov website so hard and in particular for the prospect researcher?  Learn why this is the case and some helpful techniques to make this process easier and more rewarding.  This workshop will cover the different ways to search for company insider forms and how these search options work together, finding due diligence information, and understanding the importance of the Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) section for learning more about investment advisers and firms.

Presenter: Roger Magnus 

Speaker Bio: Roger Magnus is the owner of Roger Magnus Research based in Amherst, MA.  A librarian by training, Roger has over 20 years of research experience. Roger provides a number of services to nonprofits including donor and foundation research, Census Bureau data, and Zoom videoconferencing support for meetings and events. When he is not working, Roger enjoys reading, jogging, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his family, two dogs, and one cat.
